Access violation crashes

Hello,

For about two months, I’ve been experiencing problems with access violations and corrupted memory (this error is new). Sometimes I get a BSOD, and sometimes just game or app crashes. It all started after I reinstalled Windows. Crashes occur in every game I play—some after several minutes, others after hours of playtime (the fastest to crash is always Arma, even without mods). Even Chrome sometimes crashes with an "Ah, Snap!" error, with access violation as the explanation. Temps are always fine; the GPU never gets over 75°C and the CPU never gets over 70°C, even under heavy load. For anyone wondering, I have a THERMALRIGHT Peerless Assassin 120.

My computer specs are:

• AMD Ryzen 5800X
• RX 6700 XT Red Devil
• MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II
• 2x 16GB Kingston 3200 MHz (KF432C16BBK2/32)
• Seasonic 750W FOCUS-GX-750
• Samsung 980 (90% health) as the main disk
• Samsung SSD 870 EVO (99% health)
• Apacer AS350 (100% health)
• Kingston SA400 (69% health)

I’ve tried everything I could find online:

• Reinstalling BIOS/GPU drivers/Windows
• Updating chipset drivers
• Running commands: sfc /scannow, Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth, Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
• Multiple runs of Windows Memory Diagnostic and MemTest86
• Turning off XMP and enabling Eco Mode (65W) for the CPU (I didn’t want to undervolt)
• Running with only one stick of RAM and changing slots; errors still occur
• Updating firmware of the main disk

My question is: Is there anything else I could try before buying new components? Here is the newest memory dump/mini dump (I don’t have older ones because I tried reinstalling Windows again).

Little update: After letting my PSU rest for a while and trying another PSU that I have (with the same errors), it stopped bootlooping. I even tried a different outlet with no results.

So, after this mess, I think it might be either a bad CPU or motherboard because I’ve changed everything except the CPU and motherboard. When I have some money, I’ll just buy a new CPU.

Your data just indicates memory (RAM) corruption no specific driver is listed

To try to force Windows 10 show any faulting drivers, the best option would be to turn on Driver Verifier, let your PC crash 3 times, then you must turn off Driver Verifier, and finally, upload any newly created minidump files

Before you run Driver Verifier, please create a new System Restore Point

Note, if you have any difficulty getting into Windows with Driver Verifier enabled:

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run these two commands, then restart your PC.

verifier /reset

verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

So I tried reinstalling my chipset drivers (again), and a new BIOS version dropped, so I downloaded it.

(I might add that BSODs are rare compared to just game/app crashes), but the crashes still occur.

I might try to contact AMD and MSI support to see if this is AMD-related and not a Windows problem,

but I still appreciate your time and help.

Please ensure Driver Verifier is now disabled.

That indicates it is the AMD chipset drivers caused that crash, go to the support page for your PC or Motherboard on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of AMD chipset drivers they recommend and while there, if you do not have your drive encrypted with Bitlocker, check for any BIOS update that may need to be installed

So, I tried Driver Verifier, and this is the MEMORY.DMP it gave me (no minidump). I tried to run the dump analysis with ChatGPT, and it gave me the following:

"Faulting Driver: The driver at fault is amdgpio3.sys, which is related to AMD's GPIO (General-Purpose Input/Output) controller. This is a kernel-mode driver used for managing GPIO operations."

I vaguely remember that sometimes it gave me a BSOD with some I/O error message.
