Windows 11 - run on/ official support i7-7700HQ?

Question

Hi, there is lot of rumors that i7-7700 will be added as supported processor. Do you have more information about this, or is this another wish which will never be fulfilled? Cheers

Reliability: Devices that do not meet the minimum system requirements had 52% more kernel mode crashes. Devices that do meet the minimum system requirements had a 99.8% crash free experience.

Thank you for the quick answer.

It is a shame as there are some processors which are "older" or with less "power" on the general list. Also, those processors have the same specs as i7-7700.

Maybe time to get Macbook? (just kidding) :)

I am afraid that there would be no more additions to the list. These are only 7th generation processors that support Windows 11:

Intel:registered: Core:tm: i9-7900X

Intel:registered: Core:tm: i9-7920X

Intel:registered: Core:tm: i9-7940X

Intel:registered: Core:tm: i9-7960X

Intel:registered: Core:tm: i9-7980XE

The good thing is that, if the security requirements are met, you can upgrade manually. It is strongly not advised though.
