Nastavení konfigurace se ukládají v hierarchii konfiguračních souborů. Instance Configuration třídy představuje sloučené zobrazení nastavení konfigurace ze všech konfiguračních souborů, které se vztahují na konkrétní fyzickou entitu, například počítač, nebo na logickou entitu, jako je aplikace nebo web. Pokud pro zadanou entitu neexistuje konfigurační soubor, Configuration objekt představuje výchozí nastavení konfigurace definované Machine.config souborem.
Objekt můžete získat Configuration pomocí následujících tříd:
Třída ConfigurationManager , pokud je vaší entitou klientská aplikace.
Třída WebConfigurationManager , pokud je entitou webová aplikace.
Názvy metod, které vrací Configuration objekt, začínají na "Open".
Můžete také vygenerovat konfigurační soubor, který představuje nastavení konfigurace v objektu Configuration . Chcete-li to provést, použijte jednu z následujících metod:
Voláním Save metody vytvořte nový konfigurační soubor.

Poznámky pro dědice
Třída Configuration poskytuje programový přístup pro úpravy konfiguračních souborů. Použijete jednu z metod "Open" poskytovaných WebConfigurationManager třídou pro webové aplikace nebo ConfigurationManager třídou pro klientské aplikace. Tyto metody vrátí Configuration objekt, který pak poskytuje metody a vlastnosti, které zpracovávají základní konfigurační soubory. K těmto souborům můžete získat přístup pro čtení nebo zápis informací o konfiguraci.
Ke čtení informací o GetSection(String) konfiguraci použijete metodu nebo metodu GetSectionGroup(String) . Všimněte si, že uživatel nebo proces, který čte, musí mít následující oprávnění:
Oprávnění ke čtení konfiguračního souboru na aktuální úrovni hierarchie konfigurace.
Oprávnění ke čtení všech nadřazených konfiguračních souborů.
