IFileDialogCustomize::SetControlState method (shobjidl_core.h)

Sets the current visibility and enabled states of a given control.

Syntax

HRESULT SetControlState(
  [in] DWORD           dwIDCtl,
  [in] CDCONTROLSTATEF dwState
);

Parameters

[in] dwIDCtl

Type: DWORD

The ID of the control in question.

[in] dwState

Type: CDCONTROLSTATEF

One or more values from the CDCONTROLSTATE enumeration that indicate the current state of the control.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

When the dialog is shown, controls cannot be added or removed, but the existing controls can be hidden or disabled at any time.
