So my PC got infected with a malware that, steals my passwords, and can download other malware, and also take screenshots of my device. Theres probably other stuff, it can do. After tons of research, It kinda matched with the description of “Redline Stealer”. My Google account, epic games account, was hacked, and probably tons of others as well. I got verification codes, signup messages from other countries. Eventually, i resetted my pc. (Multiple times) And the way i resettet it was, in settings. “Reset this pc” Remove everything, clean the drive. I did that some times.

Heres how i got this malware in the first place:

I was searching for ingame-cheats

(stupid ik). And then, i found a video. In the video description it said something like this:

Password: 1234

Download: virus here

Stupid me, downloaded the program, typed in the password. And then, a few days later, i got tons of verification codes around the world. It even posted a youtube video on my channel, where it would do the same scam.

Password: 1234

Download: and another download link

So yeah. Thats the story. I really want to get rid of this, but i cant afford an usb atm, to install a new windows. So i really dont know what to do at this point. 😔

It seems like no anti-virus can detect this. Is there a manual way to check/delete it?

Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

I would recommend going direct to one of the malware removal forums below to receive one-to-one help in removing the virus.

    Try running these programs:

MBAM free: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ ensure scan for rootkits is enabled.

    Eset online scanner: http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/

    Adwcleaner: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

Also check the router to see if there are any unknown connections:

If these find one or more infections but do not fully remove them it will be wise to register with a malware removal site to receive dedicated malware removal instructions, an expert will remain with you throughout the process until confirmation that your PC is 100% clean.
