Azure dependency availability by primary country/region
Many product features have Azure dependencies that might not be available in all primary countries/regions. This includes, but isn't limited to, the following list:
- Insider risk management
- Microsoft Threat Protection (MTP)
- Microsoft Purview Information Protection
- Autolabeling for sensitivity labels
- Communication compliance
- Attack simulation
- Microsoft Application Protection and Governance (MAPG)
- Privacy
- Transport
Note
The Azure dependency is only applicable to a tenant's primary country/region. It's not applicable to a tenant's subsidary countries/regions.

Primary countries/regions that have Azure dependencies availability as of October 2023:
- Australia
- Brazil
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- India
- Japan
- Norway
- Qatar*
- Singapore*
- South Africa
- South Korea
- Sweden*
- Switzerland
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- United States of America
Countries/regions with an asterisk (*) appended have recently obtained Azure dependencies. All solutions are working on unlocking their features in these regions. Check Microsoft Center documentations to see when specific solutions will go live for these regions.
