Lucida Fax

Characteristics: A slab-serif font designed for telefaxing. A large x-height and generous spacing between letters makes it easy to read at small sizes. Also easy for children to read. Uses: Educational printing and publishing. Use with printing methods that tend to degrade quality such as newspapers, packaging, and labeling. Use when rendering fonts at low resolution, or small sizes such as for dot-matrix printing and screen displays. Ideal for creating documents (from simple memos to complex newsletters) for telefaxing. Complementary fonts include Lucida Sans, Icons, Stars, and Arrows. Use Lucida Fax as a small size version of Lucida Bright. For example, if you are using 10 point Lucida Bright, try using 6 point Lucida Fax for notes and footnotes.
