Help me sign in to my Hotmail account from 2011

Hello.

Today I entered my old email to refuse META AI training and I found my old one (not actively used since 2015). Then I tried logging in with the old email (in Facebook) and it asks for a code that was sent to the Hotmail Email.

Microsoft says Hotmail is now Outlook but it refuses to create an Account with the 1:1 email, which apparently is not a Microsoft Account and with the reason being "Email already taken".

Is there a way I can access the hotmail account? I got the code request when trying to login into Facebook with the old email. But as far as I know I have already changed that one to Gmail some time back.

Thanks.

(I still know the email and password as mentioned above)

    Hello,

Unfortunately your account is actually gone. According to Microsoft's account activity policy, if you haven't used the account in the last 2 years, they would close the account.

And because Microsoft doesn't allow the reuse of its native domain address, hence you get the "email already taken" if you try to recreate it.
