Hello Mike,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Q&A Forum. While Outlook allows you to export emails and calendar items via PST files, account settings (like server info, ports, and credentials) are not included in that export.
Here’s how you can proceed:
1: Export PST Files: You've already done this—great! Be sure to include calendar and contacts if needed.
2: Manually Recreate Accounts: Unfortunately, Outlook doesn’t support exporting account configurations. You’ll need to re-add your Exchange, POP/SMTP, and IMAP/SMTP accounts manually on the new laptop.
3: Exchange Account Sync: Your Exchange account should automatically sync emails, calendar, and contacts once added to the new Outlook.
4: POP Account Caution: If your POP account was set to remove emails from the server, ensure all messages are backed up in your PST file.
Why You See Only the “onmicrosoft” Account in Outlook Web: The web version of Outlook only shows accounts tied to your Microsoft 365 identity. POP and IMAP accounts configured locally in Outlook desktop won’t appear there.
