How can I conduct the migration from ADFS to Entra without interruption

Hi all,

We have currently a Directory Synchronization from AD DS to Entra ID in Place with the old Active Directory Synchronization Service. Also, there is an AD FS / AD FS Proxy in place for authentication of external users.

Now, we would like to remove the AD FS subsystem and completely rely on Entra ID for authentication (web based) while retaining our AD DS system as leading source for User / Group Accounts.

Is there any whitepaper / documentation on how to do this without interruption?
