Office Professional 2019 gone after Windows 11 upgraded -KB5042099

Question

Last week, on 16.08.2024, Windows automatically upgraded with KB 5042099. After upgraded, Windows re-started, I would open an Excel file, but I got an error message: 0Xc000142.

Then I tried to open Word, the same error message.

I checked from Program and Features (of Control Panel), I tried to repair MS Office Professional 2019. But failure.

After PC re-started, all MS Office components are missing, no Office folder, no ICONs, and even in Program and Features, MS Office Professional 2019 was no longer listed.

Please to provide the solutions immediately for the problem has seriously affected my work.

here is status update: i have re-installed MS Office with the original installation CD, and seems working again now.

I have got the APP download and deleted Office fully. But the last step, it needs always Product-Key that is no available in the hand now.
