OneNote Textstift mit A nicht vorhanden

Question

Hallo Zusammen,

ich nutze Windows11 Business mit Office 365.

Es geht bei meinem Problem um den Teststift mit dem A in OneNote zur Handschrift Erkennung und Umwandlung in Text.

Bei mir auf dem Surface 8 Pro ist der Stift nicht vorhanden. Ich wollte fragen ob man diesen Manuell hinzufügen kann ?

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that it's not required/mandatory to use the Pen for using Draw features in the OneNote application, where we can use touchpad, mouse, or even finger if the computer is touch.

However, if you are facing any problem with the Draw features in the OneNote app, I would like to request you to share the following information which will help us to better understand and guide you further:

1. Screenshot of problem or behavior encountering when using the Draw feature in the OneNote app.
2. Screenshot of the OneNote app Account page: Open your OneNote app> File> Account> Take a screenshot and share it with us.
3. Are you using Microsoft Personal account (@outlook.com) or Microsoft work/school account (@companyname.onmicrosoft.com)?

Thank you for your question and I'm sorry that OneNote is not meeting your expectations. For the Ink to Text pen to work it requires Windows 11 version 23H2 or higher.

Explore the Ink to Text Pen - Microsoft Support

Currently the details you provided show you are on Windows 21H2. If you can update your Windows installation, then you might be able to use the Ink to Text Pen.

Note - The ink to text pen is supported in the following languages. Language is determined based upon the Windows input language.

English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.

We are working on supporting German Switzerland, so hopefully in the next couple of months. Note it will require Windows 24H2 to be installed when support initially rolls out.
