Thanks for sharing the details, Stephan! Try to change your Microsoft account primary alias
Most OneDrive spam happens because your email address is known or leaked. You can keep your account but stop strangers from targeting it.
What this does
- Strangers can no longer share files to the old email
- Your OneDrive, data, and subscriptions stay intact
Steps
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com
- Your info → Account info
- Select Edit account info
- Add a new email alias (create a new Outlook address)
- Set the new alias as Primary
- Remove the old alias (or keep it but disable sign-in)
Result: Sharing attempts sent to the old address simply fail.
This is the single strongest fix if spam keeps coming.
See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.
Best regards,
Kimberly
