Is it just me or Windows 10 is looking like Windows 1.0?

The Windows 10 UI is still being polished and worked on, but between the "hamburger" icon, border-less windows, auto-tiling, flat icons and a flat taskbar, Windows 10 is finally bringing back the glory days of Windows 1.0!

In honor of the good-old-days, I have recreated the Windows 1.0 screenshot from the Windows History, using Windows 10 programs and Outlook:

What other features of Windows 1.0 should we expect from Windows 10?

But more importantly...if the trend continues, will Windows 13 look like Windows 3.1?

Only time will tell...

PS: while you are here, don't forget to run MSDOS in your Windows Phone - they are already bringing back Win 3.1, so you can start getting used to it again.

In case you are interested, Windows 1.0 was not the first to use the hamburger menu. Here's more about it: gizmodo.com/who-designed-the-iconic-hamburger-icon-1555438787

Did they invent anything to replace the floppy disk image for saving? My kids don't know a floppy disk.

I sure hope MAJOR improvements come to the UI for Win10, it is a giant  step backwards from Win8.

For the hamburger menu design, I don't know this... progress or setbacks ?

I think I'd rather use the Windows 1.0 because it has more distinct colors and clearer UI :) Windows 8 and 10 are just plain gray.

@Chris Marisic "I sure hope MAJOR improvements come to the UI for Win10, it is a giant  step backwards from Win8." You're going to be THAT guy, huh?
