[<CommonParameters>]The Resize-StorageTier increases the size of one or more storage tiers that are associated with a virtual disk. You cannot use the cmdlet to decrease the size of a storage tier.

You can use the pipeline operator to pass an array of MSFT_StorageTier objects to the InputObject parameter.
If you specify the Passthru parameter, this cmdlet returns an array of objects that contains details about the tiers, such as tier friendly name, media type and size.
