Silverlight update using Windows Installer

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'silverlight.msi' in the box below. In the box are two choices: c:\a823dc11e31e7a761b\  or Microsoft's Silverlight Installation 1. I've tried both but unable to update my Silverlight.

Based on the description, it appears that you are getting an error message “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable” while trying to install Silverlight update.

1.      Are you able to install other updates fine?

2.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

I can understand the inconvenience you have experienced. I will certainly help you out with this issue.
