    Hi Tom

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

    Option 1:

Browse the disc, right click setup then click 'Run as administrator'

    Option 2:

Browse the disc, select all files on it (Control + A)

Click Copy (or press Control + C)

Create a new folder on your desktop then paste the files there (Control + V)

Try launching setup from there to see if it works.

You might also want to try installing in compatibility mode if the program was not designed for Windows 10:

    Hi Tom

This may be caused by a part of Defender called Controlled Folder Access .. .

    Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access

Temporarily turn off Controlled Folder Access and check to see if you can install that software . . .

Please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off permanently
