I have blocked Youtube explicitly for my child in Microsoft family but my child can still manage to watch some that show up in Google search results. How would I be able to stop that?

That is not good. The world is full of good websites that I want my child to explore. I just do not want them to spend too much time watching videos and there is a glitch in the way Google plays videos. If there is still a way to spot and block such streaming of YouTube videos via Google search would be awesome.

This is a public forum for questions about Microsoft products. In the specific case how you use the Chrome browser, I suggest you check the link below for Google support that will guide you about blocking searches for children.

As a suggestion from Microsoft support you can manage access through Microsoft Edge browser. This will also allow you to control your child's access.

Hi. I'm Kleber. I'm happy to be able to help you.

An option that allows you to have full control over your child's accesses would be to set the option to access only allowed websites as step-by-step below: Sign in to your account in the Family Safety app.

Locate your family member, then tap the name> Content filters > Web and search.

    Enable Filter inappropriate websites.

When they request the use of a blocked website, you can approve it and add it to the Always allowed list.

You can add specific sites to the  Always Allowed  and  Never Allowed lists. You can also turn on the Allow them to use allowed sites only.

Hope this can solve your problem.
