Hello it's regarding Excel Solver function. I need to present tomorrow for my assignment at university. I am trying to use Solver function as instructed by my Professor to find the optimal. portfolio of investments. As a result I need the Solver function to find the optimal portfolio weights that maximise me Sharpe Ratio or that Minimise Standard Deviation. I do not get any movement in the weights unfortunately could you please guide me to either correct the errors or use solver effectively it will be great help as I've spent several hours on this assignment.     Could you share a test file with some dummy data in it and the formula you are using? Then I can set solver on it and send it back to you.
