    Hi,

Is it safe to assume that the keyboard is wireless and uses a battery? If so, have you tried replacing the battery, if it is rechargeable have you tried charging it?

    Dear naomi hersey

Thanks for reaching out! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A. I'm Haien from Microsoft Q&A.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Bluetooth keyboard. The error code 43 you're seeing usually indicates that a driver is malfunctioning or the device has been completely disabled by Windows. Since your Bluetooth mouse is working fine, this points to an issue with either the keyboard's specific driver or a temporary glitch in the Bluetooth connection for that device.

To give you the best advice, could you tell me a little more about your situation?

    • Which version of Windows are you running (Windows 10 or Windows 11)?
    • Did you recently install any updates or connect any new devices before this issue started?

In the meantime, here are some general troubleshooting steps that work:

    • Solution 1: Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Find Bluetooth in the list and click Run > Follow the on-screen instructions. The troubleshooter will scan for problems and try to fix them automatically.
    • Solution 2: Re-pair the Keyboard: Go to SettingsBluetooth & devices > Find your Logitech keyboard in the list of devices > Click the three dots next to the keyboard's name and select Remove device > Confirm your choice > Now, try to pair the keyboard again by putting it in pairing mode and clicking Add device at the top of the Bluetooth & devices page.

Please keep me updated with anything new that you were try to each option.
