My Parallels VM was recreated. I have a retail digital license purchased from Microsoft Store and need a confirmation ID for activation.

A purchase from the Store is a digital licence . You should use the activation troubleshooter on the new VM and select Changed hardware then select the previous system listed to transfer the licence to the new virtual system.

You can use the key to activate Windows- Settings > System > Activation > Change product key.

If the Product key is not received, check your order history page to confirm the purchase was successful and the Product key is visible in your account.

If the purchase is successful, go to Settings > System > Accounts > Your info, and sign in with your Microsoft account if you're using a local account.

If you're already using a Microsoft account, run the activation Troubleshooter from Settings > System > Activation > Run the activation troubleshooter to activate the digital copy of Windows 11.
