bluetooth sound problem

y headphone is connected but the sound is not comes in my headphones instead its comes from laptop

Could you let me know if your headphones appear in the sound output list? Are they wired or Bluetooth?

If your headphones are connected but sound is still coming from the laptop, it may be due to the audio output settings on your Windows 11 device go to Settings > System > Sound and manually select your headphones as the output device.

If that doesn’t help, unplug and plug the headphones back in, then restart your PC

Follow these steps in Windows 11 to route sound to the Bluetooth headphones instead of the laptop speakers:

1. Check output device from the taskbar
   • Click the Sound icon on the taskbar.
   • In the output device list, select the Bluetooth headphones as the audio output.
2. Set the headphones as output in Settings
   • Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
   • Under Output, make sure the Bluetooth headphones are selected as the output device.
3. Reconnect the Bluetooth device if needed
   • Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
   • If the headphones are connected but still not playing sound, select them, choose Remove device, then Add device and pair them again.
4. Restart Bluetooth
   • Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
   • Turn Bluetooth off, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it on again and reconnect the headphones.

If sound still comes from the laptop speakers after these steps, run the Bluetooth troubleshooter in the Get Help app to automatically diagnose and fix Bluetooth audio problems.
