    Hi,

I assume it is Outlook new, let us try some troubleshooting steps.

    Try this, please.

Press Windows + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft, and press Enter.

Delete the Olk and OneAuth folders.

    Restart Outlook.

This only removes temporary Outlook data that will be recreated automatically. Please try reconfiguring the account and let me know.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

Follow these steps in order on the new PC to get Outlook working again.

    1. Completely close Outlook
      • Right-click Start > Task Manager.
      • Select Microsoft Outlook and choose End task.
      • Close Task Manager.
    2. Repair Microsoft 365 (classic Outlook)
      This fixes damaged Office/Outlook files.
      • Type Control Panel in the Windows search box and open it.
      • Select Uninstall a program under Programs.
      • Find the Microsoft 365 installation, right-click it, and choose Change.
      • Select Online Repair and complete the repair.
      • Restart Windows and try opening Outlook again.
    3. Create a new Outlook profile
If Outlook still reports a problem, create a fresh mail profile.
      • In Control Panel, select User Accounts > Mail.
      • Select Show Profiles.
      • Select the existing profile and choose Remove (only if mail is stored on the server such as Microsoft 365/Exchange/IMAP).
      • Select Add, enter a profile name, then enter the email address and sign-in details.
      • Finish setup and start Outlook with this new profile.
    4. If using the new Outlook for Windows
If the “new Outlook” toggle is on and the app is failing:
      • Close Outlook.
      • Press Windows + R, type appdata, press Enter.
      • Go to Local > Microsoft and delete the Olk and OneAuth folders:
        • C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Olk
        • C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth
      • Restart the computer.
      • Open Outlook again and sign in when prompted.
    5. Run the Outlook advanced diagnostic (classic Outlook only)
If Outlook still crashes or hangs after the steps above and the classic Outlook is being used:
    6. If nothing works
      • Uninstall Microsoft 365 from Apps & Features / Programs and Features.
      • Restart the PC.
      • Reinstall Microsoft 365 from the subscription portal and then start Outlook again.

For direct assistance with a human agent, use the Get Help app in Windows or the contact support option referenced in the Outlook troubleshooters page.
