Emissions by Category and Scope (Power BI Report)

APPLIES TO: Business Central 2025 release wave 1 and later.

The Emission by Category and Scope report gives an overview of values for individual emissions. The report organises emissions values by account category, subcategory, and then the different scopes. With this breakdown, you can identify key account categories that are tracking high emissions and make an informed decision on where to make changes.

Use the report

Sustainability Managers use the report to get clear, concise information about the organisation's emissions. The report can help identify irregularities based on a specific scope or a category.

Procurement Managers use this report to analyse the impacts of Scope 3 emissions related to the purchase of goods and services. This analysis can help to identify key suppliers and prioritise partnerships with more sustainable vendors.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

The Emission by Category and Scope report includes the following KPIs and measures:

• CO2 Emissions
• CH4 Emissions
• N2O Emissions
