Symptoms

When you try to upload an attachment in Microsoft Dynamics SL, you receive an error message that resembles the following one:

System Message 334

Error writing file Could not find file

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp\2\TEST'1'.txt..

Cause

This problem occurs when the file name contains an apostrophe.

Resolution

Change the name of the file to a name that doesn't contain an apostrophe.
