Aharoni Bold is a very square, bold Hebrew typeface with simple forms. It has only one weight, and no italic or cursive style. Its shapes look geometric, and its included Latin letters are derived from a very bold weight of a classic geometric Latin typeface. Like a Latin geometric face, it gives the impression that all of its strokes are of equal weight, although they get thinned down where needed to make angles and junctions clearly delineated.
Aharoni was originally designed by Tuvia Aharoni in 1936 and manufactured by Ludwig & Mayer. It was made into a computer typeface by Kivun Computers Ltd. in 1991–1993. Aharoni Bold is suitable for headlines, posters, and large advertisements.
