cleanmgr.exe tool on Windows Server CORE.

Question

Hi everyone!

Do I have to install any feature on W2K19 CORE to have 'cleanmgr.exe' tool available?

C:\>cleanmgr
'cleanmgr' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Hi,

Two files are required for Disk Cleanup:
cleangmgr.exe
cleanmgr.exe.mui

You can source the files from other servers (preferably running the same version of Windows Server).
Once you’ve located the files move them to the following locations:
Copy Cleanmgr.exe to %systemroot%System32.
Copy Cleanmgr.exe.mui to %systemroot%System32en-US.
