Outlook error message: Error code: -3249

i'm using gmail thru Outlook on a Mac and cannot send emails.  Inbox is fine.  This error message pops up:  "Error code:-3249".  Can anyone help to send my emails?  Thanks: Casey from Naples, FL

    Try 465 with ssl and see if it helps.

    Account settings are better off given by your isp.

    I think the Outlook POP code for Outgoing is wrong on the Mac. The Incoming code is 993 SSL default. Outgoing is 25 SSL default. My PC laptop had he same problem last week and the Outgoing code was wrong.

    I could not find any relevance to -3249, so it would be best to provide the complete error message associated with this error code.

    Also mention how the account has been configured in Outlook?

    Are you sure of the account settings in outlook?
