I have Microsoft Word, but not Microsoft 365. My Apple was erased and rebooted by Apple and and Microsoft was gone as it is a third party according Apple. I have the Device ID but cannot seem to install it, thus no Word. Microsoft keeps prompting me to Buy 365. Thoughts on how to install Device ID

Two ways to install the Word app:
One way: Open your AppStore> Search for Microsoft Word> Get
Another way: Access this website Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Docs> Download Word package and install it

AFAIK, to install Office apps the Device ID is not required, if you don't mind, can you please share the screenshot of the problem when you are trying to install it and the "I keep getting prompted to Microsoft 365"?

I do not have any purchase records. I have the Device ID but am unable to install it as I keep getting prompted to Microsoft 365. Any clues as to how to put in the Device ID or where I might place it.

If yes, can I know whether you get any error message when you install Microsoft Word via App Store? In addition, can you share some screenshots related to your problem?
