This is not a question. It is a request.

Please any dev working at Microsoft create a Microsoft Store installer and upload it to your website.

There is no reason with the amount of issues users are experiencing trying to fix the Microsoft Store / Xbox App problems that a simple solution cannot be offered to us. Reinstalling / Resetting Windows is not an acceptable option to something that should be a simple fix. I know the Microsoft Store comes with windows. That is also not an acceptable answer. Installing windows should not be the only way to install the Microsoft Store. If the program ever fails there needs to be a simple installer method that can be easily downloaded from the Microsoft website. We should not have to even go into PowerShell to solve these kinds of issues. These “solutions” which do not work are a waste of everyone’s time and effort. I’ve spent so much of my time trying to solve this one issue in Windows 10. No I am not going to reinstall Windows 10 to solve it. If you want me to use your Microsoft store then you need to provide an option to easily access and install the Microsoft store.

I am not looking for someone to help me with troubleshooting. I have already tried literally everything suggested with no success. The only answer I am willing to accept from Microsoft is a Microsoft Store installer than I can easily download.

Hi, thank you for replying, and I understand you on that. May I know the Windows version and edition you are using? There are several Windows versions, such as Enterprise, Education, or N version, which typically don't have a Microsoft store, depending on the permissions from your organisational IT.

In addition, what I can highly suggest is to post the issue on the feedback hub so that developers will also be aware of this problem.

    To send Feedback: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/send-feedback-to-microsoft-with-the-feedback-hub-app-f59187f8-8739-22d6-ba93-f66612949332

    Hello Bernard

Thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately I have already tried everything you just suggested and nothing has worked. The Microsoft Store installer that you linked to me doesn't do anything but send me to the download page again in a never ending loop. It is a useless installer that doesn't actually do anything. I tried upgrading my Windows 10 and that also doesn't work. The Microsoft Store does not exist at all on my PC. Ironically I need to have the Microsoft store already installed in order to install it. It makes no sense.

Unless you are a Microsoft developer who can create a proper Microsoft Store installer file then you can't help me.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

I understand the issue you have. There is nothing to worry about. I am here to assist. There is actually a Microsoft Store installer that can be downloaded as .exe file. You can download it from here:

    https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrfjbmp

    Then click Download

It will download the Microsoft Store Installer.exe, then you just need to run it.

In addition, several factors might affect the installation of the Microsoft Store since you mentioned that the PowerShell command is not working on your end. First, there are several Windows versions, such as Enterprise, Education, or N version, which typically don't have a Microsoft store, depending on the permissions from your organisational IT.

If you are using a normal version of Windows, and the PowerShell command and the installer for Microsoft Store didn't work, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Note: before doing this, make sure to create a restore point:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/system-protection-e9126e6e-fa64-4f5f-874d-9db90e57645a

    1. Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

    1. Select Download Now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.

    1. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.

    1. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now, and then select Next.

    1. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.
