I have been trying to apply for PL-300 exam for past 4 days. I tried to edit and match account details with government ID details, tried clearing cache, even used incognito mode. Nothing works. what to do?

Based on similar issues, the “unexpected error” during PL‑300 exam scheduling is commonly caused by a Pearson VUE account block (often after multiple failed payment attempts) or a backend scheduling issue that cannot be fixed from the browser side.

Since cache clearing, profile edits, and Incognito mode are already tried, the next steps are:

    1. Contact Pearson VUE support directly
      • A Pearson VUE–wide block (ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK) must be removed by Pearson VUE.
      • Use the Pearson VUE Microsoft contact options; support can typically resolve the block in a few minutes.
    2. If the error persists after Pearson VUE confirms no block
      • Open a case with Microsoft Certification Support so a moderator can investigate the scheduling issue on the Microsoft side.

These two support channels (Pearson VUE first, then Microsoft Certification Support) are the supported paths when self-service troubleshooting (profile updates, cache clear, Incognito) does not resolve the “unexpected error.”
