Bing Developer Assistant now available on Visual Studio Gallery

A colleague told me about a recently released plug-in for Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2013 called the Bing Developer Assistant, and I wanted to post download links here to help people find it.  This plug-in provides 3 key features:

  1. Uses Bing Code Search to provide code snippets in the Visual Studio IntelliSense window.
  2. Adds a toolbar to Visual Studio to make it easier to search for code snippets and sample code projects.
  3. Allows you to search for code samples on your local PC when the PC isn’t connected to the Internet.

You can download and install the Bing Developer Assistant from the Visual Studio Gallery using the following links:

You can also install it from inside of Visual Studio 2012 or Visual Studio 2013 by going to the Tools menu, choosing Extensions and Updates…, and searching for Bing Developer Assistant.
