OneNote web clipper fails to sign in
We have recently begun to pilot the OneNote Web Clipper https://www.onenote.com/clipper and have discovered that there is an issue with the sign in processing.
When users are subject to a conditional access policy that is implemented for all M365 applications and has sign in frequency controls (this one set to authenticate every seven days) the sign into the Web Clipper application fails due to the multifactor authentication part being handled by the system as a non-interactive sign in, which naturally leads to no prompts for the user.
In a test with another conditional access policy, one also configured for all applications, but without sign in frequency controls, the sign in was processed successfully.
Removing the conditional access policy with the sign in frequency controls allows for successful sign in, however there should be no non-interactive MFA challenges to begin with, plus the sign in frequency is satisfied in all test cases, including my own.
I would need assistance in determining how to make this application work with the conditional access policy, with sign in frequency controls in place.

Currently I have to use Print to OneNote.
