    Hello Omar Cristian Martinez ,

Thank you for reaching out on the Microsoft Q&A .

The old keyboard shortcuts for date and time (Ctrl+; and Ctrl+:) aren't available in Excel 2021 anymore. No worries! You can still insert them easily. Just type "=TODAY()" for the current date or "=NOW()" for the current time. These formulas will automatically update whenever you open the spreadsheet.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

    Hi @Omar Cristian Martinez

I suggest you click: File > Account > Product Information, check the Office version name and version number in Excel.

    • You may click "Update Now" in "Update Options", ensure Office is updated to the latest one.
    • What the input language are you using? Please switch another input language for a test.
    • To insert to current time in a cell, please try to press "Ctrl", "Shift" and ";" (On some keyboards, the ";" and ":" are on one key).
    • Besides, it's recommended to test theses shortcuts in Excel Safe Mode. You can press and hold on Ctrl key, click or double-click Excel icon, until Excel asks do you want to start it in safe mode, then please release Ctrl key and click "Yes". Safe Mode will help us troubleshoot the add-ins and startup items.
