Unincorporated NSW Not Displaying Properly in Azure Maps

Hello,

I am using latitude and longitude coordinates to map the Unincorporated NSW area in Azure Maps, but the region is still not displaying correctly. I have added a reference layer with the correct boundary and am not using participation data for this mapping. Despite this, the area remains unfilled.

How can I resolve this and ensure the Unincorporated NSW area displays correctly using only latitude and longitude?

Here is what I’ve done so far:

• I have added a reference layer that includes the boundary data for Unincorporated NSW, but the region is still not filled.
• I’ve tried using DAX formulas with latitude and longitude coordinates to create a custom condition for filling the Unincorporated NSW area, but this approach didn’t work.
• I want to ensure that the correct boundary for Unincorporated NSW is used and that other areas, like Broken Hill and Central Darling, are not included in this region.

I am looking for guidance on how to correctly map the Unincorporated NSW region using Azure Maps. Is there a specific boundary I should use, or is there another approach I can take to ensure this region is filled properly?

Hi Sai,

Are you using Power BI? For assistance on how their connection works to link your data to a location, you will need to leverage the Fabric Forums. For Azure Maps, try https://samples.azuremaps.com/services-module/search-for-boundaries and type "NSW" and you will get a polygon for that Admin district. I don't think we have a method of disambiguating incorporated vs unincorporated.
