Host PC: Windows 10 Pro

Client PC: Windows 10 Pro

License: Office 365 E5 (without Teams) trial version

①〇Confirmation items

・Administrator: Owns Microsoft Entra tenant

・Administrator, user: Microsoft Entra ID P1 license applied

・Intune license applied

・Tenant configured for Intune automatic enrollment (MDM user scope configuration: ALL for both MDM and Windows Information Protection)

・Device meets the requirements for Microsoft Entra Join

〇Current situation

On the client PC, select Connect under Access work or school

In Setup, select Join Microsoft Entra ID

In Sign in, sign in with the email address of the account you created and assigned a license to

After entering the password, press the Sign in button

Loops at "Select an account" (you cannot get out of the loop even if you press Back)

This phenomenon also occurs when registering an account during OS setup.

Please tell me how to solve this problem.

    @ka_96, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, it seems the authentication keeps looping when do Microsoft Entra joined.

    Please try the following suggestions to see if it works.

    1. Please check if "Users may join devices to Microsoft Entra" included the enrolled user or set to ALL. User's image

    1. Go to automatic enrollment setting, for WIP user scope, select None.

    However, if the issue still persists, please collect the following information to continue.

    1. How many users are affected? Did if affect with all the devices when enroll with these affected users?
    2. What is the difference between the working devices and non-working devices?
    3. Is the affected device appearing in Microsoft Entra admin center after we sign in the user account?
