Different Access for different loop components in one Loop page

In a different question I found this answer:

Granular Permissions within Loop Components:

  • Within a Loop component, you can set different permission levels:
  • Read-only: Users can view the content but cannot edit it.
  • Editable: Users can modify the content.
  • Creator-only: Only the creator of the component can edit it.
  • To manage permissions within a Loop component:
  • Open the Loop component.
  • In the upper-left corner, click on its name.
  • Select the desired permission type (e.g., “People in Organization with this link can edit”).
  • Use the share dialog to update the permissions.
  • This way, you can tailor access rights to specific parts of your Loop page.

Nevertheless when I click on it's name nothing happens, has this process being changed?

I am sorry if I wasn't clear enought.

What I am trying to achieve is set individual permissions (for example some components can be edit by some users, other components are opened to all, etc) of a Loop Component within a Loop page

I ran into this issue today as well with a larger meeting. Random people from the meeting participants were auto added to the edit permissions to see a Loop Agenda populated through Teams. It didn't seem to follow a pattern except for possibly something to do with 'optional' invitations.

When I went to add the as you showed below, it still wouldn't share it with them. It populated an additional link, which, of course wasn't helpful, because we were working through that Loop agenda in Teams.

    Hello, PCL_253

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It seems like you’re experiencing an issue with sharing a Microsoft Loop page. As of my last update, to share a Loop page as a component, you would typically click on the name of the page and then select the appropriate sharing options. That is to say, the process hasn't been changed yet. However, if nothing happens when you click, try using a different browser or an incognito/private window to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, browser extensions or settings can interfere with the functionality of web applications.

Also, try another device or network, as there might be a temporary glitch with the network connection.

If the problem continues, providing feedback may help address this if it’s a bug or a feature change. Click on ··· > Help & feedback on the upper right corner.
