    Dear ajit bhandari,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the Community.

After reading, I understand that you are having trouble access your account and I understand how anxious you are at the moment.

You can log in to your account by resetting your password, even if 2FA is enabled on your account. When you sign in to your account, click Forgot Password, get the verification code, and enter a new password when you're verified twice.

For more information, see the following links: Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password - Microsoft Support

About *That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method*

    • If it doesn't work then, try open a private browsing windows (In Edge, press Ctrl+Shift+N ) or clearing your browser's caches and cookies.

    • You can also try switching to a non-Google kernel browser, such as Firefox.
    • Some working network environments may cause the CAPTCHA not to be sent. You can try switching to Wi-Fi or connecting to your phone's hotspot.
    • You can also try switching devices. For example, using your phone or another computer.

If none of the above methods work. So, it's possible that SMS is currently unavailable due to Microsoft's security policies. You may need to wait a week for the event to stop again. Do not attempt to log in or restore your account during this week. Wait a week and try again in a stable personal internet environment,

If the above error still occurs, the recovery form will be the only way to get your account back, so please be patient and follow our advice. We apologize for the inconvenience.

After filling out the form, please be patient and you will receive the results of the recovery request to the work email address you provided at the beginning of the form within 24 hours, do not fill out the form repeatedly, this will reset the response time.

I hope my suggestion has been helpful to you.

Feel free to contact me if there are any further updates on this issue, I'm here to help you further if needed.

    Best Regards,
