Feature details
In the current experience, installing a template app update only updates the workspace content and not the associated organizational app. If the user wants the organizational app to include all of the updates, they must manually open the workspace and push the publisher's changes to the organizational app.
This new feature adds an option to update the workspace and the app. When this option is selected, the update will be automatically applied to both the workspace contents and to the associated organizational app. The publisher's updates are automatically applied to the organizational app (for example, new branding, navigation, naming) so that the organizational app reflects the template app publisher's changes exactly. Workspace members will be able to navigate directly to the app after the update and begin to explore the new version.
