Yes, you can validate events using a JSON schema when streaming events using Event Hubs .NET SDKs. Azure Schema Registry is a feature of Event Hubs, which provides a central repository for schemas for event-driven and messaging-centric applications.

You can use the Azure.Messaging.EventHubs.NET library to send events to and receive events from an event hub with schema validation.

To use JSON Schema, you can create a new schema group in Azure Event Hubs Schema Registry in Event Hubs and use JSON Schema as the schema format. Then, under that schema group, you can create the JSON Schemas that you plan to use for schema validation.

After further research I found out that Apache Kafka supports schema validation using the Confluent Schema Registry, which is similar to the Azure Schema Registry.
