At work, every time I start Outlook, it's set to "New Outlook". When set to this, I cannot send one of the emails I do every day, which has one word attachment and one PDF-attachment. When I turn off "New Outlook", everything works as normal. I am also not able to choose which account I am sending from in "New Outlook". Also, I cannot view more than 3 people at the same time in my calendar in "New Outlook. You are certainly not making my life any better with these changes.

    Hi @Tempus,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We're sincerely sorry for any inconveniences or troubles this issue may have caused you. To clarify, Microsoft has introduced a redesigned version of Outlook called "New Outlook". Its primary goals are to be simpler, faster, and more consistent to provide a more modern and unified experience to users across different devices and interfaces (Windows, Mac and web version).

When switching off the "New Outlook" button, it will get you back to Classic version of Outlook, a traditional and full featured that has been developed and refined for over 20 years. Classic Outlook is It's a powerful app with lots of features customization options to help you handle complex workflows.

New Outlook is the modern, faster version, but it’s still catching up on many features including the issues you're experiencing. Attachment sending, cannot select sending account and limited calendar view are all considered as known limitation of New Outlook compared to the classic version. If these features are essential to your daily tasks, I recommend continuing to use Classic Outlook by toggling off the “New Outlook” option in the top-right corner. Many users are also holding off on the switch until "New Outlook" is fully developed and supports all the advanced features they rely on.

Microsoft is actively working on improving the New Outlook experience, and user feedback plays a crucial role in shaping its development. I strongly recommend submitting in-app feedback so that your experience can be formally logged with our engineering team. You can do this by going to Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub > Send feedback. The product team actively reviews customer suggestions to identify areas for improvement and prioritize future updates.

I know this is not the experience you expected, and I want to thank you for your patience while the team works on improvements for providing better experience for our customers in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and corporation. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

    Looking forward to your response.
