After upgrading from Win10 to Win11, our techs that are placed in the Network Configuration Operators group via GPO can no longer change their IP settings without getting an Administrator credentials prompt. Since they are not Administrators they can no longer change these settings. I've tried manually removing them and adding them back into the group and they continue to get a UAC Admin prompt.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To further check this issue, please kindly try:

1.Check if group policy applied to this client is changed or not.

Make sure the group policy applicable in Win 11 system.

2.Add these users into local group “Network Configuration Operators” and see if they have proper permission to do it.

3.Check User Account Control settings on the Windows 11 machines.

Adjust the UAC settings to a level that allows network configuration changes without excessive prompts.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
