Creating a link between text boxes in PowerPoint

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to link text boxes to each other in PowerPoint like you can in Word.

In Word, you click a text box > select "Create a link" > select an empty text box to flow text between text boxes.

Is there ANY way to do this in PowerPoint? Any work arounds? Any Add-ins?

Linking Text Boxes isn't supported in the program. I don't know of any way to implement it.

Although PowerPoint can't do this currently, it could be a useful feature. On the Microsoft User Voice pages, you can suggest new features and other users can vote on them: PowerPoint for Mac User Voice
