I cannot enable Zone Redundant HA on my Azure flexible Postgres Server even though it is in East US and I have sufficient quota left for the compute VM. The message says the region does not support it, but your documentation says it does and I don't see any outages or service alerts that say otherwise. The compute type is General.

    Hi Jonathan,

Please carefully follow my instructions below to create a new Service and subscription limits (quotas) request quota increase to allow access to deploy Zone Redundant PostgreSQL Flexible Server in the region. Note that they may not approve your request due to capacity constraints.

    1. Navigate to this link to start the process:

    https://portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.Support

    2. Enter quota in the box and click Go

    4. Click Create a support request button, as shown

    5. Select Issue type: Service and subscription limits (quotas), Subscription, Quota type: Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server, click Next

    new support request description tab

    6. Now you should be on Additional details tab. Click Enter details

    7. For quota type select Region access with zonal dependency (Availability Zones), select Location, enter expected number of vCores, and then click Save and continue

    quota details flyout

    8. Finish filling out Additional details tab, click Next, review and click Create. You should receive an automated email within a few minutes.

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.

    Hi @Jonathan Meuth

Thank you for your patience. We understand how important it is for you to provision services in the East US region and recognize that the current limitation is affecting your deployment.

At this time, there is no confirmed ETA for restoring provisioning capabilities in East US. However, our engineering team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore full functionality as quickly as possible.

Based on internal recommendations, we suggest deploying your services in the Canada Central region to ensure a smooth experience. Additionally, please avoid deploying in East US for now, including any dependent services, to prevent potential issues.
