Exceptions

FormatException

The validated XML element or attribute's value is not in the correct format for the Int64 type.

InvalidCastException

The attempted cast to Int64 is not valid.

OverflowException

The attempted cast resulted in an overflow.

Remarks

The ValueAsLong property attempts to convert the value of the validated XML element or attribute to the .NET Int64 type according to the XPath 2.0 rules for casting the item's type.
