Printing from Microsoft Project on the Web

We had just got started on having the Microsoft Project (Project Plan 1) set up on our company's account, and I'm having an issue finding how one would be able to print the project schedules. This isn't a desktop version, but rather an app within Office 365, so the option of going to File>Print is not available. It doesn't give any File, View, Edit, etc. options.

Would anyone be able to advise what I can do? There's not a lot of support on this when it comes to this version of MS Project.

Emily --

Project for the Web is such a new application that it is a "work in progress" in a sense.  At present, there is no way to print a project or to export a project to another application, such as to an Excel workbook.  I realize this is frustrating for you, as it is frustrating for me as well.  The best advice I can give you is to capture screenshots of your project and then to paste them into a Word document to share with others.  Sorry, but hope this helps.

Dale- are you serious?  How can Microsoft release a product that can't print?  This is not only frustrating but extremely unprofessional.  I pay monthly for this garbage and the first time I need it I can't print it to give to my client tomorrow.

Are there any other workarounds besides collecting screen captures?  And if not, does MS have a clue when this feature will be available?  I've been a Project user for well over 20 years and this is unconscionable.  How can they sell this without a print function?

These comments are not directed at you.  I see that you are a volunteer.  That must be fun with an incomplete product.

    Thank you.

Microsoft was totally useless.  Apparently, MS Project 365 is so new it doesn't yet have the ability to print.  Absolutely ridiculous for any scheduling product.  So I removed it from my computer and went back to stand-alone Project 2019.  Thanks, Microsoft.  For nothing.

Man I totally agree with you. This is top dollar subscription cost being paid monthly and this can't even print. Microsoft has had complaints about this same feature since January and you're telling me this feature hasn't been added yet? not even an export function? come on Microsoft you need to do better.

100% Agree. This is a big ball-drop by Microsoft. We have two monthly subscriptions, and while they both come with the desktop app and the MS Project Online (not MS Project for Web), one of the users is on Mac, so we've been using For Web for easier collaboration and the interface is also super intuitive (bonus points). But not being able to print or export to Project Desktop is a big hurdle in the program's efficacy.

We were hoping MSP for Web would allow us to assign tasks to personnel that would filter down into their MS Planner or MS To Do... but nothing.

As a result, we're canceling our subscription to MSP and going to moving over to Monday.
