Power Automate Sharing with run-only permissions

Hi All,

I am needing some guidance on sharing of flows in power automate. I am trying to share a flow that has run only permissions but it seems that I do not have that option? (See photos of what it should look like and what mine shows). Is there a way to get this option? I need to share the flow to someone outside of the organization so I do not want them to have owner access to the flow. Any suggestions on what to do?

Hi James,

Thank you for sharing the experience with us.

From your description, I understand the issue is that you do not have Run only users option when you share a flow. (If I misunderstand anything, feel free to correct me)

Run only users option only applies to manually triggered flows. I suggest you refer to this thread for detailed information: How do I manage run-only users in microsoft flow

If your flow uses manual trigger but you still don't find the run only users option and you need further help for the issue, to make sure you get the dedicated assistance, I recommend you post the question in Microsoft Power Automate Community, it is the specific channel handling flow related questions and issues, members and engineers are professional and will help you further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Tina
