    Thanks for your answer,

My question is the same and the answer I get from you is that, both function results are the same, hence we can use TRUNC and ROUNDDOWN similarly. There is no difference between results.

My question is about the difference between TRUNC and ROUNDDOWN, your answer shows TRUNC Vs ROUND

I want to know that can we use the TRUNC function in place of ROUNDDOWN? because the results of both functions are the same.

    1. OK, my bad.
    2. It depends on what value you want to show/return from your calculations.

If your goal is to return an Integer value then both functions will do the same work

Otherwise, then you should provide us with clear examples so we can offer you a better explanation/solution.
