bulk delete?

I have downloaded a file with images and everything matches up. If i go to sort the images lets say by license to show a customer "this is what we have in stock for disney" there are images that get thrown to the bottom of the table and they seem to be stacked on top of each other.

there are thousands of images that are in this "pile" how can i just bulk delete all of them instead of deleting one by one which will take forever.

thanks!

Either, while on the sheet, press F5 on the keyboard and choose Special…, then Objects, OK

    Image

or select a big area with a marquis (mentioned earlier) (click and drag while you've opted for Select Objects). If there are many objects on top of each other, all of them will be selected.

or show the selection pane, and select objects in there one at a time while holding the control key (probably best to use this to deselect objects you don't want to lose, some dropdown arrows sometimes get included as objects)

After one of those processes, press the delete key on the keyboard.

In the Home tab of the ribbon, there's a section called Editing, and in there there's a dropdown Find & Select, in there, choose Select objects.

    Image

This will allow you to select many/all pictures by dragging a marquis around them, then you can press the delete key.

Don't forget to toggle Select Objects off so that you can use the sheet normally again.

In the same place, there's also a Selection Pane option which will list the pictures (and other objects) which you can use to check you've got rid of all that you want to get rid of.
