Help! Changed a microsoft form after it went public and now most of the questions aren't showing up for respondants.

I used Microsoft Forms for our Convention Registration and it was sent to the public. We made a few changes to the order of questions today and now all of the people who submitted responses today are missing answers to those questions in the response form even though they filled them out. Even worse, the form now is only asking respondents the first 3 questions, out of what should be 23! I can see all 23 under the questions tab, but when I go to the preview tab, it's only 3 questions.

    Dear Sarah,

I believe the problem can be resolved by resetting your branching in the Microsoft Form, please follow the below steps to reset the branching:

Open the problematic Form> Click on Any Question and click on three dots> Click on Add Branching> Click three dots and click on Reset

Hope this helps and thanks for your understanding!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia

Thank you! It’s happening with every responder. It does seem to be that the branching was the issue. Can you tell me how to remove all branching in all sections?

    Dear Sarah,

    Good day!!

I understand you are having two concerns with the Form when you have made changes to it before going into the Public. If yes, as you mentioned the form shows only 3 questions in the preview mode and also when the user tries to submit the response, it seems you have applied branching in the Form. I suggest you to check whether the branching is applied and if so, then the behavior you are observing the preview mode is expected as per the rule setup in the branching.

Coming to the missing responses, I would like to confirm whether the problem is happening with every responder or only specific responder? Please try to submit a test response and see the outcome.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and thanks for your patience.

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
